GCS inspections and audits help ensure that exchange visitors to the USA from overseas are living and working in safe environments, and their sponsors remain responsible for their care while visiting our country for their internship, short-term assignment, or study program. 

J-1 Visa

Once the GCS inspection is completed, our detailed reports become an important part of obtaining a federal exchange Program Visa under the federal J-1 Visa program, a non-immigrant program for temporary and supervised work study in the USA.
